About This Provider

Continuing our mission to serve seniors in the Dallas, Oregon area.

More than a beautiful 30-acre senior living community, Dallas Retirement Village represents a decades-long commitment to seniors in the Dallas, Oregon area. It all started in 1947 when members of three local churches rented a big, yellow house to serve as a care center for aging adults. Over the years, we continually grew and evolved in response to the demand for senior housing.

Today, Dallas Retirement Village is a thriving Life Plan Community offering a full range of options to more than 400 residents. This includes independent living Garden Homes and apartments, as well as high-quality, on-site health care services: assisted living, memory care, long and short-term nursing care, and rehabilitation services.

Part of local family stories for 70+ years.
Dallas Retirement Village has family connections that span several generations. In fact, a number of our current residents have fond memories of parents, aunts, and uncles who lived here. This on-going connection demonstrates a level of trust that can only be earned by years of exceptional service.

Local staff brings love and support to residents.
As one of Polk County’s largest employers, Dallas Retirement Village is a place where employees are truly part of our community. In fact, many of our 300+ employees build fulfilling careers with us that span 5, 10, or even more than 25 years! Along the way, residents enjoy building caring, personable relationships with employees. That’s why we make it a commitment to invest in employees through programs including fully paid Certified Nurse Assistant classes, scholarships for continuing education, competitive benefits, and more.

Volunteers add to the community spirit.
Our unique connection to the surrounding Dallas area shines through in the dedication of our volunteers. Each year, more than 100 volunteers donate thousands of hours sharing their time, talents, and passions with residents.

Assisted Living

Housing that provides an independent lifestyle for older adults but with personal assistance and support available; most have private living space or bedroom and some may offer a kitchenette.

Independent Living

Independent Living is an apartment style setting that may or may not provide hospitality or supportive services; residents require minimal or no extra assistance.

Memory Care

Memory Care Communities provide a secure setting that alerts staff if a resident has exited, offers a secure outdoor area, and the staff receives training on Alzheimer’s and related dementia.

Skilled Nursing Facility

Nursing Homes, skilled nursing and intermediate care for the very frail who are dependent on nursing care; many provide short-term rehabilitation for residents needing rehab between hospital and home.
