Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care has been serving families across Pierce County and the greater Tacoma area since 2015 — providing professional, relationship-driven in-home care for older adults who want to remain safely at home.

 

We provide one-on-one care tailored to each client's needs, delivered by 135+ trained, vetted caregivers with 24/7 live local support behind every plan. Our services include personal care, companion care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, memory care, Parkinson's, ALS, MS and Huntington's care, respite care, post-hospital recovery, and daily living assistance.

 

Families often ask us: what happens if something changes overnight? We have a 24/7 local team — not a call center — who knows your situation and responds immediately. Others ask how quickly we can start: in most cases, same day.

 

Families and referral partners trust us to show up, communicate clearly, and be there when it matters most — not just at the start of care, but throughout. We work regularly with discharge planners and social workers at MultiCare Tacoma General, CHI Franciscan/St. Joseph, MultiCare Good Samaritan, and St. Clare Hospital, and can begin care the day of discharge.
