Amy Schmidt is the founder of CareAvailability.com and Retirement Connection Guide, based in Oregon. Her work is focused on connecting families and senior care providers through honest, unbiased resources, built over nearly 30 years in the industry. She earned her degree from the University of Tennessee before beginning her career in senior living sales and marketing. Amy is a long-term volunteer and advocate for Alzheimer's disease and a national speaker in the senior care space. She is a mother of two, and after losing her husband of 21 years, brings both professional expertise and personal perspective to her work.
