Avamere at Newberg is located in the charming historic town of Newberg, Oregon
in the heart of Oregon wine country. As part of the Avamere family of companies
we are dedicated to providing more than just a home for our residents. Our team
is trained by example to work how with each person (and when appropriate their
family) to find solutions that fit their individual needs. Our smaller community
offers a more personalized experience while our central location in Yamhill
county allows families from nearby cities easy access to see their loved ones.
All care is directed by our licensed nurses and includes assistance with daily
activities such as mobility, personal grooming/hygiene, dressing and bathing,
medication management, wellness monitoring and as needed communication with the
resident's primary doctor. Supplementing these essential services are restaurant
style dining featuring nutritious meals and snacks, life enrichment programs
that take into account our residents' interests and life experiences, family
conferences and support groups, and monthly resident town hall meetings.
