About This Provider

PNW Aging Specialty Services, LLC was inspired by the model of services started in 1998 by Yvonne and Steve Polkow. After they spent several years helping older friends work through difficult and complex personal issues, the Polkow’s realized there was great need for high quality advocacy for the elderly, and for experienced, compassionate Case Management and In-Home Care Services. PNW Aging will continue to offer these same great services, while adding more to their umbrella to ensure our aging and disabled populations have access to the resources and support they need, never having to manage it alone.

PNW Aging is a newer company, but our foundation and our core team of professionals remains the same. Our team consists of several Care Professionals, including a Former Certified Professional Guardian in the State of Washington and National Certified Guardian, a Master Level Social Worker, long-term Certified Nursing Assistants, experienced Administrative Supports, and Certified Caregivers in the State of Washington. Our team has a never ending passion to help support our Seniors and disabled populations. PNW Aging adheres to the highest ethical guidelines including those of the Aging Life Care Association, the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, and the Washington Home Care Association of America. PNW Aging also maintains regulations with local rules and Washington State Laws to remain in compliance with the Washington State Department of Health.

As a local company, we eliminate the oversight of a large corporation allowing for more flexibility and customization of care, which results in more of a personal touch and connection with our clients and family members. We develop and establish a personal relationship with each client to use our understanding of their needs and wishes as the basis for our advocacy and care planning.
