The initial consultation is completed on the phone. During this call we discover knowledge about the senior in need of placement - their current living situation, medical and care needs, financial limitations, lifestyle and social needs and geographic preference. The conversation is generally with the adult-child who is searching for their parents, but can be directly from a senior in search on their own. Next is a home visit to allow us to visually see the client and their surroundings. At this time, a more in depth physical, medication, memory and financial assessment occurs. Our Senior Advocates will now be able to discuss appropriate Senior Living options to our client and their families who generally are also in attendance. Then we will set up appointments to tour 3-4 appropriate communities. We always tour with you and ask the questions you might have not known to ask.
