About This Provider
Aegis of Kent is a beautiful boutique-style memory care community, with 48 semi-private apartment homes set up to be reminiscent of our residents' past homes. Our community is one-story, easy to navigate, and perfect for our residents to explore in a secure environment. We have four memory care neighborhoods with 12 apartments each, designed so our care staff can provide a higher level of individualized care to our residents, and helps ensure the safety of each person within our community. Each apartment opens up to our communal areas to encourage socialization and comfort for our residents.

We support residents with memory care needs through end of life, including hospice if needed.
Skilled Staff Expertise:
Our care staff is trained to assist all personality types! We welcome these residents with open arms, and have the ability to care for residents with behavioral expressions of dementia, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's.

We are proudly an age-in-place community, and quickly respond to the changing needs of our residents as they need it.
Intimate Setting for Resident Well-Being:
We are a smaller community, so we proudly offer a higher quality of person-centered care to each of our residents, always maintaining high safety standards. We also provide a robust life enrichment program, which is tailored to suit each of our residents' preferences.
Mindful Nutrition:
We provide three nutritious meals per day along with many options for nutritious snacks. We accommodate all dietary needs.
Robust Life Enrichment Program:
We are an active and lively community with a buffet of life enrichment engagements throughout the day. We take great pride in empowering our residents to maintain as much independence as possible throughout the disease progression, ensuring dignity and respect to each of the members of our community. We encourage socialization and promote the feeling of a loving community throughout our residents' days.

Many members of our Care Team have been with Aegis Living Memory Care for 10 years or more, so we understand the level of care needed to provide the best environment for your loved one.
On-Site Nursing Coverage Every Day:
We have 7 days of licensed nurses on-site who work in partnership with our Care Team.
24/7 Care:
Our Care Team in on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Rent Inclusions:
Our general service for each resident includes the following: room and board, three meals per day, bistro refreshments, housekeeping once per week, laundry services, transportation on scheduled days to doctors’ appointments based on availability, and all utilities except for cable and telephone.
Medical Services at Your Doorstep:
We work with Crown Health to provide primary care physician services to our residents - conducting all doctor's appointments in-house. We also have the ability to bring specialists in-house as recommended, and the providers accept most health insurances. Podiatry and physical therapy services are available as well. We use Mercury Pharmacy so all medications can be delivered directly to Aegis of Kent at no additional charge to you.
