This careavailability.com is really incredible. It’s a powerful resource providing value just for two minutes of filtering. A user can feel really great about the fact that providers can list at no charge. No charge to provider means there isn’t a possibility of missing out on a place that offers great community but doesn’t have enough of marketing budget to “appear”. Currently I am a little bit of an emergency mode to get my Mom from her own apartment in state of VA (near one brother) to an assisted living community near my other brother in Spokane, WA. This process is of course hard due to usually prompted by deterioration mentally and physically so I can’t get over how this takes the user from “I have no idea” to I know where to call next! On a personal note, I used CareAvailability to help a neighbor search for skilled care and assisted living in Florida. Her children lived out of state, so we needed a resource to view options online. The one thing that EVERYONE….. not just my staff tell me every day…. Why can’t everyone update their availability? No one has the time to cold call every facility nor do they know that a Google search will provide them with as complete of a list as your online service provides.
